Formulas and calculations explained

Servers are ranked by a Popularity Score designed to identify genuinely active servers and filter out bot activity.

Popularity Score (0-100 scale)

Active + Returning + AvgKills + Matches + PeakHours + Diversity

Active Players (30% weight)

Players with kills on 2+ different days. Filters one-off visitors and bots.

Returning Players (15% weight)

Players with 3+ matches on 3+ different days of the week. Identifies loyal player base.

Avg Kills/Match (15% weight)

Average kills per match. Indicates real gameplay activity vs idle servers.

Total Matches (15% weight)

Volume of completed games. More matches = more consistent server activity.

Peak Hour Score (12.5% weight)

Activity concentrated in natural peak hours (evenings/weekends). Bots often run 24/7 evenly.

Level Diversity (12.5% weight)

Variety of player levels. Bot clusters tend to have uniform low levels.

Score Normalization

(Metric Value ÷ Max Value in Dataset) × Weight

Each metric is normalized against the highest value across all servers, then multiplied by its weight. This ensures fair comparison regardless of absolute values.

Anti-Bot Detection

Active PlayersMust have kills on multiple days (not one-off bot takeovers)

Returning PlayersMust play varied days of week (bots follow rigid schedules)

Peak HoursNatural human patterns vs 24/7 bot activity

Level DiversityMixed levels vs bot clusters at low levels

Charts: Each server shows rank history, time played, player counts, activity trends, kill trends, hourly patterns, and level distribution over the last 90 days.
